Who said english couldn't be spontaneous, oh I did.

In general, I tend to watch how people react to different situations in different environments, but on September 10th this I was my assignment and my destination was the Frederick Coffee Co. First entering the vicinity of the café I recognized by the costumers who were sitting around the building how mellow the mood had became, everyone spoke a little bit softer and had the eagerness to start the new day with other people and their selected beverage. As I continue my way into the build I notice how the build itself was implying a relax mood on any one who would enter. The walls were packed with a variety of objects that have been collected over the years that embraced some background history that if asked about could lead to two coffees and three hours later of discussion.

As I situated myself into this habitat of the elderly and the couples, I felt to truly observe these people I would need to be in the same state of relaxation; therefore I indulged myself to their Chai Tea that was made promptly in front of me. The people who were running this café knew exactly where everything was from their long worked mornings. I sat back down and began to absorb everything around me, the air had an incredible freshness that made me take a second sniff, there was a pleasant beat of mellow music that waved through the waking morning, and then there was the off beat over weight gentlemen with a starting laugh that encroached on the standard of calm in the building. They left and the building seemed to sign, like an annoying fly finding something more interesting in the distance. After my first observations I noticed that time was up, and I had already been there for fifteen minutes. In my head I told the coffee house that it would not be long before I returned once more.

  2. It's nice you found a place where you can truly relax, or as Erika said, do homework or hang out. I've never been to Frederick Coffee Company, as I've never been much into coffee...but I love tea so I'll definitely check it out!

Your description was very good too. You really did a great job at making this shop sound appealing. It seems like anyone can go there and feel somehow at home or at ease. :)

  4. I remember last year there were people that came in and played their instruments and sang every tuesday night from eight to ten. They'll probably start that back up again if it has not started already if you're interested. I would have liked to see a better description of the place. What did you see?
I do like how you put your thoughts through on how they cafe felt.
